Board Members

Hubert Kirchgaessner was born and raised in West Germany. His undergraduate studies were in economy and psychology at the University of Munich. In Munich, Hubert worked for Siemens Corp and Messerschmitt-Boelkow-Blohm before accepting a Fulbright Scholarship to take up graduate studies at the Kelley School of Business at IU. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from IU, and briefly worked in Market Research for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis. In late 2003, Hubert accepted the assignment as Information Security Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Hilda Legg attended Campbellsville College and obtained a Bachelor of Science. She then attended Western Kentucky University and graduated with a Master of Arts in Education. She then continued on to Harvard University, the John F. Kennedy School of Government. While at Harvard, she was in the Senior Executive Program and Public Administration. Currently, Hilda works in Somerset, KY with Legg Strategies. There, she is a consultant. Hilda serves as a public relations advisor for telecommunications strategies. Before then, Hilda was a Administrator for the U.S department of Agriculture. She managed over 300 employees, developed policies and procedures for program implementation. She worked there for four years. Hilda has also had occupations that include Executive Director and CEO at The Center for Rural Development, and Alternate Federal Co-Chairman at Appalachian Regional Commissions. Currently, she is also on the Campbellsville College Advisory Board, Kentucky Youth Association Board of Directors, and Alice Lloyd College Board of Trustees.

Michael Mayo graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science. He then continued Medical School at University of Louisville, where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine. He had Post Graduate training in both general Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry. He works with both Seven Counties Services and Gratis Clinical Faculty. At Seven Counties, he is the Medical Director of School Based Services. He works in the Department of Psychiatry for Gratis Clinical Faculty. He is also on the Board of Directors for Wellspring.

Susan E. Moss has served as Vice President of Corporate Communications of Kindred Healthcare since May 1996.  She is responsible for internal and external communications. Prior to joining Kindred, Ms. Moss founded Kentucky’s third largest public relations and marketing business specializing in consumer public relations. She has been in public relations more than 20 years. Ms. Moss ran the public relations and marketing department for Portland Federal, currently known as Fifth Third Bank, before starting her own business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications with a teaching certificate in speech, drama and music.

Debbie Napier has served as the Project Manager and Project Leader at UPS since 1988. She is responsible for support and maintenance of existing systems supporting UPS worldport HUB, UPS tradeability, and Brokerage Finance and Accounting Systems. Before UPS she worked at Humana for three years as a Consulting Systems Engineer. She was responsible for new system development, problem resolution and enhancing existing systems. She is also a board member of Wesley House Community Services. She received her B.S at Western Kentucky University in Business Administration and Computer Science. She then went on to Bellarmine to obtain her M.B.A.

Lisa Rodemeier received both her M.A and B.S.A at Western Kentucky University. She worked from 1992-2005 at Jenny Craig as International Management. There, she created and trained sales teams. Currently, she works for Media Thoroughbred Group where she is the President and Founder. She creates, manages and markets thoroughbred horses. She also currently works as the radio show host for The Track Kitchen. She created and produced two radio shows and three stations in Louisville. The Track Kitchen is a fitness and wellness show as a spin-off of the horse racing show.

Carolyn Shain attended University of Kentucky and obtained her B.A in psychology and then continued on the College of Law at UK. She received her Juris Doctorate, and then received her Masters of Law-Taxation at the College of Williams and Mary. Currently she works at The Louisville and Jefferson County Metropoliatan Sewer District, where she is the Legal Director for MSD. Before this job, she was the Tax counsel for Humana, Attorney for Department of Finance in Frankfort and also an Attorney for Nationwide. She was also a Legal Intern for the Presidential Clemency Board.  She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
