![]() Finding a Match and Meeting the ParentsOnce the birth parent(s) chooses the adoptive parent(s), the adoptive parent(s) are asked to respond within 24 hours indicating whether they accept or decline the situation that the birth parent(s) is extending to them. The adoption coordinator will arrange a meeting at the convenience of all parties involved for everyone to openly discuss questions and concerns about the pregnancy, the birth, and the nature of any future relationship. Assuming all parties involved are satisfied with the outcome of the meeting, the process will move forward. If either the birth parent(s) or the adoptive parent(s) are not satisfied after the initial meeting, the birth parent(s) may review additional agency profiles of adoptive parents.
