Joe and Tammy
Dear Birthparent(s),
Thank you for the opportunity to tell you a little about us. We admire your decision to consider adoption as a choice for you and your precious baby.
We are Joe and Tammy. We met each other on the first day of 7th grade and have been friends ever since. In 2008, we will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. In our marriage, we are more than just a husband and a wife. We are truly best friends.
We love children and have always dreamed of being blessed with the opportunity to become parents. During our years of marriage, we have explored many options in our attempts to have children. After much prayer and consideration, we feel adoption is how God has led us to complete our family.
Joe has worked his entire career in the information technology field. Tammy is currently a social service worker, but is looking forward to becoming a stay-at-home mom. Our home is in a family friendly neighborhood with lots of other children. There is a playground and swimming pool within walking distance of our home.
Our families are very important to us. We frequently have family get-togethers. One of our favorite times each year is our annual Kentucky Derby Party. Most of the fun of this event is our “crazy hat contest”. Adults and children alike, decorate hats with horses, flowers, and anything else they can think of.
