 Kevin and Stacey
We are Kevin & Stacey. First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us. We admire the love and courage you are showing by making an adoption plan. You are also helping fulfill someoneʼs dream of becoming a parent. We have always had the desire to adopt, and after years of dealing with infertility, we now see that God chose this path for us to raise a family. We do not have any children, but we pray everyday for that dream to be fulfilled. We were high school sweethearts. We each grew up in small towns and met at the local Piggly Wiggly Supermarket. We have been together for 16 years and married for 11 years. Kevin is 33, and Stacey is 31 years old. Our families are very close and get together often. We love spending time with our 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Our Kevin is a physical therapist. He enjoys helping his patients recover and return to an active lifestyle. Stacey is a small animal veterinarian. As a young child, she dreamed of becoming a vet to help animals. Our jobs are flexible, and we each work 4 days a week. Stacey plans to take of at least 6 week after the baby comes, and Kevin plans to take off 2 weeks. Our neighbor, and a very good friend of ours, has agreed to provide daycare. She is a stay at home mom and a teacher.

Dear Birthmother, 
parents are very involved in their grandchildrenʼs lives. Everyone is very excited about the adoption and canʼt wait to meet the newest member of our family. We each have cousins who were adopted, and they have always felt like part of the family. We have a black Labrador Retriever named Jake, who is 8 years old and great with kids. 
We live in a low traffic cul-de-sac with a school, park, playground and swimming pool within a mile. There are several young children here, and we are good friends with many of our neighbors. Our home is a 2 story house with a large finished basement with a game room. Guests often say that it feels warm and cozy. We already have the babyʼs room ready! We love to invite our family, friends, and their children to our house for cook-outs. We enjoy camping, fishing, running and bicycling together, and taking the dog for a walk. We also enjoy relaxing days watching movies or sitting outside on our porch swing. We are very strong in our Christian faith and are very active in our church. We meet regularly with small groups for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. We feel that our faith has made us stronger as a couple while facing infertility.
