Shannon

Hello!

I am honored and thankful that you are looking at my profile and considering me as a parent for your child.  I admire your incredible courage and your willingness to make an act of unselfish love and generosity for your child’s welfare.  If chosen, I will be forever grateful and will provide your child with a loving, faith-based home.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I am 37 years old .  The Lord has provided me with a nice home and a job that can support a child.  He has provided me with a loving family that is very supportive of me and especially of my decision to adopt.  I am an Accounts Payable Supervisor for a local hospital.  I have a degree in Accounting and have worked in Accounting for almost 20 years.  I love my occupation and the friendship I have with my employees.  I have a lot of time saved up so that I can take time off when your baby is born and be able to spend as much time as possible with the baby.  Once I return to work, I will hire the services of a lady from church to stay with the baby.

I have one brother and a sister-in-law and they have three children.  They live only eight houses down the street.  Our family takes vacations together every year.  We have been to places like Panama City and Disney World in Florida, Niagara Falls, Canada, St. Louis, Missouri, Chicago, Illinois and San Diego, California.

While traveling is fun, I also enjoy staying at home and visiting with my nieces and nephews.  I usually see them several times a week. I enjoy watching them play football, sing in the church and school choirs, and play in the band for school.  Whatever activity they are involved in, I am there cheering them on!

I was raised in a church from the time I was born, and I am still very active in my church.  I attend church and Sunday school every Sunday,  I sing in the church choir, attend bible studies, and participate in several ladies functions at the church.  I look forward to the time when I can get involved in the children’s area of the church and have your child involved in activities at the church, too.  I also enjoy camping, hiking, traveling, reading, scrapbooking, and spending time with my family.

I hope this has provided you with a sense of who I am.  I will love your child and provide them with a loving home and a safe environment to grow and love in.  I would like to thank you again for looking at my profile and I would be honored to be chosen to be an adoptive parent by you.

Sincerely,
Shannon
