![]() Truman and Dawn
Thank you for taking a few minutes to get to know us. We have longed for children of our own for many years. Our hearts ache to be parents, and we pray that we will be united with a child who needs us as much as we need them. The choice to adopt came easily for us. Both of us have childhood friends who were adopted, Dawn has 3 adopted cousins, and one of her nurses at work is adopted. We are blessed with the support of our family and friends who know how much we love children, and are thrilled that we are p We have a close, wonderful relationship, and can’t wait to share our lives with a child. We Again, thank you for allowing us to introduce ourselves to you, and for considering us for your child’s adoption. We admire your courage, and sincerely hope that you will be at peace with your decision. We would be honored to give your child a safe, happy, and comfortable life, full of love and opportunities. In turn you would be giving us the one thing we lack—the most precious gift imaginable—a child to love and adore.
Sincerely, Truman & Dawn

Dear Birthparent(s),
ursuing this. We have been happily married for 18 years, and have lived and worked in the same town for 14 years. Truman is a medical technologist and a supervisor in our hospital’s laboratory. Dawn works in the adjacent clinic as a family practice physician. She is kind, nurturing and a good listener, but also funny and a big “sports nut.” Truman is friendly and helpful, with a good sense of humor. Both of us love to travel, listen to audiobooks together, and spend weekends with family.
live in a great house at the end of a tree-lined lane on a 10 acre wooded lot. It is very peaceful, with walking trails for deer watching and a scenic lake. There are 7 other homes out here—all good neighbors and friends. And the location is ideal—we are within 4 miles of town, work, and the Catholic church we attend.
