 What if the birth parent(s) change their mind?Any birth parent(s) can change his/her mind at any time in the process until the parents’ legal rights are terminated in court. There is no legal recourse against a birth parent(s) unless there was an issue of fraud. The adoption coordinator will assist in clarifying and addressing birth parent(s) and adoptive parents’ concerns. |
