How much is a home study and other services?
ABOK provides free informational meetings. Please see services for more information. The home study fee is a sum of $1,650. Post adoption visits are $150 per visit. Re-adoption fee is $250. All payments are due at the time of services.

Does your agency collect our dossier?
ABOK asks for supporting documentation to verify information required in your home study. Many of these documents are also needed for your dossier. We suggest, as you gather these documents, make copies in multiples of three: one for ABOK, one for your placing agency and one for your files. Your placing agency will assist you in completing your dossier.   
   
How long will it take to complete my home study?
The answer depends on several variables: your flexibility to complete interviews, the time it takes you to gather all the required documents and the number of clients being served by the agency. From the date of your first scheduled interview, assuming all your documentation has been submitted, the average time is six weeks.
       
What are the risks involved?
